The groundbreaking ceremony for this project marks a milestone in the cooperation between the two companies. For greentech, Agethorst is the largest project to date that the company has developed and is now implementing. Together with two other plants along the A23, greentech is implementing an impressive portfolio of around 100 MWp of solar plants to generate sustainable green electricity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One of the largest solar parks in Schleswig-Holstein<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Agethorst project alone will have an installed capacity of 70.6 MWp on an area of 80 hectares, which will feed clean electricity into the Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG grid via a nearly 6 km long cable route. The energy will be able to supply more than 18,000 households and save approximately 30,000 tons of CO2 per year.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are pleased to have gained one of Germany's leading EPC companies as a trustworthy and experienced partner for the realization of our largest self-developed project to date,\" says Oliver Herzog, Managing Partner at greentech.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Completion planned for mid-2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a planned construction period of eight months, Agethorst is a challenging large-scale project.
