The municipal utility cooperation Trianel has commissioned its largest solar park: In Wiesenhagen, Brandenburg, south of Berlin, Hamburg-based solar and storage specialist greentech has constructed a ground-mounted photovoltaic system with an output of 70.4 megawatt peak (MWp) for the municipal project developer in recent months. This is already the 19th plant that greentech has realised on behalf of Trianel in the last two and a half years.<\/p>\n<p>The solar park is located on a privileged 48-hectare site along the Berlin\u2013Halle railway line and comprises 100,143 Trina NEG21.C modules, each with an output of 700 to 705 watts, as well as 178 Huawei 330 KTL inverters. Ten intelligent and compact Huawei FusionSolar smart transformer stations are being used. The substructure was supplied by CWF GmbH, based in Niedernhall.<\/p>\n<p>The solar plant is connected to the grid via its own 110 kV substation owned by Trianel GmbH. The substation is located very close to the solar park, requiring just a 600-meter cable route outside the site.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This project is a milestone in our development activities because it is the largest connected solar park that we have realised to date. It required precise planning and detailed coordination, which was only possible thanks to the excellent cooperation with greentech,\u2019 says Andreas Lemke, Head of Solar at Trianel, describing the construction activities. \u2018With this park, we have now realised ground-mounted systems with a total output of over 165 MWp in Brandenburg and can supply more than 51,000 households with climate-friendly electricity every year.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Even the preparation phase of this project was marked by outstanding teamwork \u2013 both with our client, Trianel, and internally at greentech. Our Power Plant IT and Grid Integration departments were particularly involved in the plant design and execution \u2013 ensuring optimal results,&#8221; says Florian Berger, Managing Director at Greentech systems GmbH.<\/p>\n<p>The entire electrical planning was also simulated and optimised using PowerFactory.
