Building on a strong project pipeline and high operational execution capabilities, greentech will in future increasingly retain ownership of its own assets and generate long-term returns from their operation.

Against this backdrop, the management team will be strategically restructured with effect from 1 May 2026: Jacob Isenberg will be appointed to the management board as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), taking responsibility for the structuring, financing and implementation of the IPP strategy.

Jacob Isenberg is currently CFO of E.R. Capital Holding, the majority shareholder of greentech. He has extensive experience in the successful implementation of investment strategies, with a focus on project development and asset management in the renewable energy, real estate and shipping sectors.

Ingo Rehmann (CEO), Jörn Carstensen (CTO) and Aleksis Schäfer (CFO) will remain on the management board — the executives who have accompanied and shaped greentech since its founding.

Jörn Carstensen will continue to be responsible for all technical areas of the greentech group, and Aleksis Schäfer for corporate finance and controlling as well as accounting. Ingo Rehmann will assume responsibility for project development, consolidating key competencies along the value chain at management board level.

In the course of this restructuring, Felix von Buchwaldt and Oliver Herzog will leave the management board on 31 May 2026 at their own request. Both will remain connected to the greentech group as advisers and shareholders.

Since joining as Managing Partners in 2019, Felix von Buchwaldt and Oliver Herzog have played a pivotal role in building up the group’s project development and finance functions, laying the foundation for its growth today. Under their leadership, a substantial project pipeline was established in the core markets of Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy. Through the realisation of proprietary projects, greentech was also established as a high-performing, fully integrated PV and BESS specialist in Europe.

“With our strong project base and the successful delivery of projects in key European markets, we are exceptionally well positioned to further advance our IPP strategy,” says Ingo Rehmann, CEO of greentech.

Erck Rickmers, majority shareholder of greentech, adds: “Felix von Buchwaldt and Oliver Herzog have made a significant entrepreneurial and operational contribution to greentech over the past years.
