In addition, an agreement was reached on the contracted project development of green battery energy storage systems at all three sites.

The contract is one of the first of its kind within the framework of a new service offering, through which greentech will in future take on co-location project development for third parties – thereby offering all services along the PV and BESS downstream value chain from a single source. The Hamburg-based company will also provide technical operations (O&M) for the three solar plants going forward.
Ingo Rehmann, CEO at greentech, commented: “With this project, we are demonstrating in practice what we mean by a genuine full-service offering: after the sale, we not only remain on board as operator, but also develop the next stage on the same site – the storage system. This shows that our approach of covering the entire value chain works not only for our own projects but also creates real added value for external partners.”

The client STRABAG is one of the leading construction and infrastructure companies in Germany and Europe. The company is committed to sustainable and resource-efficient solutions, with the goal of planning, building and operating in a climate-neutral manner by 2040.
