From the development of photovoltaic projects to their technical engineering, turnkey construction and operational management – greentech offers a wide range of solutions and services along the PV value chain. In addition to project development, the set-up and management of our own portfolio, we offer our comprehensive know-how in engineering, plant construction and technical and commercial management as an external service provider for our customers – throughout the entire life cycle of photovoltaic power plants.

In order to achieve the climate and expansion targets set for Germany and Europe in the long term, not only more plants of sustainable quality needs to be built in the future – they also needs to run reliably with as little effort and personnel capacity as possible. That is why we are strongly committed to high quality in photovoltaics and work together with partners such as Solar Power Europe, the Solar Stewardship Initiative or the Bundesverband Neue Energiewirtschaft. We share our knowledge at events, seminars or at universities and work in cooperation with institutes, associations or other companies.

Together, with technical expertise, many years of experience and great commitment, greentech’s approximately 200 employees at the group’s various locations in Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy are committed to the realization and provision of green energy and a life-friendly future.

From the past

greentech was founded in 2008 by Ingo Rehmann with a focus on photovoltaic services and initially specialized in the commercial and technical management of PV power plants. As an experienced and independent service provider with modular services, greentech grew rapidly in these areas and additionally expanded its competencies in owner’s engineering and technical consulting. With the acquisition of Conergy Services GmbH in 2016, the company became one of the largest providers for the operation of PV power plants in Europe.

In October 2019, Hamburg-based entrepreneur Erck Rickmers joined the company to accelerate greentech’s growth in its existing business areas together with the management and to complement it with the area of PV project development.

For the future

What distinguishes greentech today is the interdisciplinary and collaborative approach with which we operate across the group, from which we mutually benefit and achieve the best results: For example, project development and plant construction already draw on the many years of experience and practical knowledge of operational management. As a result, optimally designed and constructed plants of leading and sustainable quality are created at reliable and yield-optimised power generation costs, which also represent an attractive investment opportunity.

With our integrated approach, we are helping to shape and realize the much-needed energy transition and are working hard to create a life-friendly future powered by green energy. In this context, it is also important to us as a company to make a contribution to sustainable business. We are therefore continuously expanding our sustainability activities.
