About
Site Analysis

What is a site analysis exactly?

The PV site analysis forms the basis for important investment decisions, yield-optimised allocation planning and needs-based EPC tenders. Our PV engineers are familiar with the requirements of modern open-space photovoltaic systems, thanks to numerous successful PV projects, and they will coordinate them precisely, to suit the local conditions. As our customer, you benefit from more than just our many years of experience; you also profit from our careful attention to detail.
In addition to site survey for solar PV, we also use modern drone technology to achieve the most efficient and accurate results possible.

When does a site analysis make sense?

If you are thinking about investing in a PV project
We will carry out a detailed, high-quality PV site analysis that records all the relevant features of the site in question, enabling you to make a well-informed decision. In addition to an on-site inspection of the area, we also use a drone to take aerial photos of the site and a detailed elevation profile.

At our company, we understand that a detailed and accurate site analysis is a critical part of any solar power project. That’s why we offer a high-quality PV site analysis service that records all the relevant features of the site in question, enabling you to make a well-informed decision.

Our site analysis process includes an on-site inspection of the area, during which our team of experienced engineers will record all relevant site information, including shading, orientation, and any obstructions or other features that may impact the performance of the solar power plant.

In addition to on-site inspections, we also use advanced technology such as drones to take high-quality aerial photos of the site, as well as a detailed elevation profile. This allows us to accurately assess the topography of the site and any potential shading issues that may arise.

Using this comprehensive data, we create a detailed report outlining the site’s potential for solar power generation, including expected energy output and return on investment calculations. This information enables you to make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with the project, and if so, how to design the solar power plant to maximize its performance and profitability.

Overall, our PV site analysis service is an essential step in the process of designing and building a successful solar power plant. By providing accurate and detailed information about the site’s potential, we help our clients make informed decisions and achieve long-term success in the renewable energy industry.

As the owner of a field, you want to know what PV farm opportunities are available
Because of the large number of successful projects they have participated in, our engineers are intimately familiar with the requirements for modern PV systems. Our seasoned experts will carry out a detailed site analysis, in order to make accurate predictions about your prospective solar farm.

Furthermore, our engineers stay up to date with the latest developments in the solar industry, including changes in regulations and technological advancements, to ensure that your project meets all necessary standards and is optimized for maximum energy yield. We will work closely with you throughout the project to ensure that your needs and goals are met, and that your solar farm is designed and constructed to the highest possible standards.

If you need an independent assessment of an existing site
In our role as owner’s engineer, we will gladly check an existing site analysis for you. So, if you need a second opinion of an external site analysis, we will be happy to support you with our technical knowledge, as a neutral assessor.

Our experienced engineers will thoroughly review the existing site analysis, examining all relevant parameters and factors that may impact the performance and efficiency of the solar farm. We will provide you with a detailed evaluation of the analysis, identifying any potential areas of concern or opportunities for improvement, and offering recommendations to optimize the design and performance of your solar farm. Our goal is to ensure that your solar farm meets your specific needs and requirements, and that it is designed and constructed to deliver maximum energy yield and long-term profitability.

As a project developer, you need a detailed analysis of a potential site?
We will conduct an on-site analysis and create an orthomosaic overview image and 360° panorama, showcasing a detailed description of the area. The results will be presented in a comprehensive report.

Our on-site analysis includes a thorough examination of the site, capturing relevant information such as topography, shading, orientation, and surrounding environment. We use advanced technology, including drones, to create an orthomosaic overview image and 360° panorama, providing a detailed visual representation of the site. This data is then analyzed by our team of experts to generate a comprehensive report that includes a detailed description of the site, along with our findings, recommendations, and projections for the potential energy yield of the PV project. This report serves as a valuable tool for making informed decisions and ensuring the successful implementation of your solar project.

What makes our site analyses stand out in the crowd

3D drone photos and recordings of the site

An early photovoltaic drone survey allows us to construct an accurate 3D model of the potential solar power plant site, create a terrain profile in DEM that can be used in AutoCAD later. You can even record a video of the route.

Pinpoint identification of any objects that will produce shade

Accurate representation of the shading pattern, by means of a solar shadow analysis, largely determines the design of the future plant and allows us to simulate the influence of shading on yields.

Best possible plant design on the basis of the area analysis

The more detailed the area analysis, the more realistic the design of the system will be. The existing special features of the site, such as differences in height, shading objects and areas that cannot be built on, are taken into account. On this basis, the ideal system design can be drawn up.
