Technical know-how and consulting across all project phases

greentech supports investors, project developers, EPCs and operators with engineering services (technical planning and consulting) from project development through to plant operation. We provide our services for photovoltaic projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and substations, and also support the retrofitting of existing PV plants for co-location with BESS.

Our customers receive robust bases for their decisions, from technical plant & BESS design incl. grid connection & integration, SCADA & IT solutions, as well as reliable quality assurance across the entire lifecycle of their project, so that risks in site assessment, design and implementation are identified early. Our experience from project development, plant construction and operations management is specifically incorporated into planning, review and optimisation.

Technologies in focus

Photovoltaics (PV)

From site analysis, plant design and yield simulation through to compiling the building permit application documents, EPC tendering, detailed design and construction supervision, we support PV projects across all phases.

In addition, we carry out Technical Due Diligence (TDD) assessments at various project stages – e.g. with thermography inspections, design reviews or end-of-warranty inspections.

For interfaces and system topics, specialist teams are available for grid connection and SCADA/IT; we also advise on hybridisation of planned or existing PV projects using battery storage (BESS) and develop tailored revamping/repowering concepts.

Battery energy storage systems (BESS)

From site screening and BESS design with yield simulation through detailed design and compiling the building permit application documents to EPC tendering and construction supervision, we support BESS projects across all project phases.
With our co-location potential analysis, we also answer whether hybridising a PV project with BESS is technically feasible – and which design delivers the best economic outcome.

In addition, we provide services for grid connection design and grid integration as well as suitable SCADA and IT concepts that incorporate metering and control concepts from the outset.

For additional assurance at critical project moments, we also support with Technical Due Diligence modules such as design reviews and end-of-warranty inspections.

Substations (UW)

From site analysis through substation design and building permit application documents to technical EPC tendering, we support substation projects in the relevant project phases.

In conjunction with connected PV and BESS plants, we deliver effective grid integration and, with our SCADA and IT services, secure and reliable communication, including metering, telecontrol and control interfaces – so that monitoring, switching and active/reactive power control can be implemented in compliance with grid requirements.

During implementation, we ensure the quality of construction execution through construction and acceptance supervision.
