The European solar and storage specialist greentech strengthens its project development business in Italy with a new leadership appointment.
Guido Omodeo Salé takes on the role of Managing Director and leads greentech’s operations in Rome. Before joining greentech, Omodeo Salé held senior positions at Smartenergy, where he was responsible for the development of renewable energy projects and strategic transactions in the Italian market. He brings with him broad expertise in project development and leadership in the renewable energy sector.
Together with Andrea Voigt as Financial Director, Omodeo Salé will form the management team for greentech Italy.

And the growth is coming: Only recently, two projects in the region of Basilicata with a capacity of 40 MWp PV and 10 MW BESS were able to issue a positive outcome in the VIA screening procedure are now moving forward with the subsequent permitting phases.
In addition, several land parcels are currently under review, with strong potential for both BESS and agrivoltaic developments, while further projects are in the process of submitting authorisation documents.
